Shangcai Shilipu site is located in the south of Shilipu Village, Shaodian Town, 5 kilometers south of Shangcai County, Zhumadian City, and is a Neolithic site with good preservation. The site is 4 meters high, rectangular in plan, 550 meters long from east to west, 200 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of nearly 110,000 square meters. In 1977, the Shilipu site was excavated, and the ruins of houses and cultural relics such as stone tools, pottery, and bone tools were unearthed, which provided valuable information for the study of Longshan culture in Henan. In 1986, the Shilipu site was approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government as a cultural relics protection unit in Henan Province, with high historical and cultural value.
